On July 25, we received a call from local people about a dog involved in a train accident. We asked them to bring the dog to our clinic, Versatile Vet Clinic and Surgical Center. An hour later, two men arrived with the injured dog, who was in a terrible state with heavily bleeding legs.
We immediately took the dog to Dr. Choudhari. After examining him, Dr. Choudhari informed us that the only option was to amputate his leg to save his life. Faced with this tough decision, we chose to proceed with the surgery for the dog's sake.
We named him Bogi, our train accident baby. Before the surgery, we conducted routine blood tests and scheduled the operation for three days later. On the day of the surgery, we were all anxious and praying for Bogi's recovery.

We immediately went to rescue him and brought him to our foster center. He was weak, dehydrated, and refusing to eat, clearly abandoned by his previous owners.
The next day, we rushed him to Dr. Choudhari, who started his treatment. The cat's condition was dire, and we had to make the tough decision to amputate his leg. The surgery was stressful for both the cat and us, lasting almost two hours.
We named him Jagga Daku because of his unique look. It took over 50 days for him to recover fully, but now Jagga Daku is healthy and thriving. He has become a lap baby, very affectionate and adorable. His resilience and love is an inspiration for us.

5. Case Name : Chhoti the 2nd
One day, we received a complaint about a female dog being harassed by three male dogs at Amboli. The male dogs were aggressive, causing a nuisance as the female was in heat. When we arrived, we found her exhausted, lying on the ground in front of some shops, guarded by the three males.
As we approached, the alpha male came forward, suspicious of our intentions. We came prepared with treats, and while one of us distracted the alpha, the other fed the female dog. Initially, he rejected the treats, but eventually, his curiosity got the better of him. We seized the moment, grabbed the female dog, and rushed her to our waiting vehicle. The male dogs chased us for a while but soon gave up.
We brought her to our office, where she slept for three days from sheer exhaustion. We decided to adopt her and named her Chhoti the 2nd. She is now our PR person and Goodwill ambassador.
